Our Catback Exhaust features an x-pipe design that improves exhaust scavenging and produces a higher exhaust pitch, providing improved exhaust flow and a deep, aggressive sound that perfectly complements the performance and styling of your MC20. Made in the USA with Type 304 stainless steel, our Catback Exhaust features CNC machined flanges, laser-cut exhaust hanger brackets, and TIG welding and back-purging for a precise and strong fit. The exhaust system is finished with Cerakote, a high-performance thermal coating that reduces temperatures and maintains a beautiful appearance for years.
At Voodoo Design, we're dedicated to providing a comprehensive exhaust upgrade solution for your MC20. We also offer OPF Bypass Pipes with the same construction and materials as the Catback Exhaust. The reason for bypassing the Otto Particulate Filter (OPF) is to improve the flow of exhaust gases and increase the performance of your MC20. The OPF is a relatively new addition to exhaust systems that reduce particulate emissions. However, it also significantly restricts the exhaust system, reducing performance and sound quality.
Our OPF Bypass Pipes are designed to remove this restriction and improve the flow of exhaust gases, allowing your MC20 to breathe more freely and produce a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note. Unlike lower-cost braided flex bellows commonly found on the market, our bypass pipes feature a solid-lined flex joint that can withstand harsher conditions like excessive heat and higher pressures. Lower-cost braided flex bellows generally do not last due to the braid breaking down quickly from the heat and gasses, causing restriction and unwanted turbulence with the exhaust flow. With our solid-lined flexible bellows, you can be sure that your exhaust system will perform optimally for years to come. It's important to note that while this system does not require an ECU tune, an OPF sensor simulator is needed to replicate the presence of the OPF in the exhaust system. This part is sold separately.
