T1 Race Development World’s Fastest Twin-Turbo Audi R8 V10 with Voodoo Design Center Exit Exhaust Grille Kit

Now that is a flame!!! We are proud to have our Voodoo Design Center Exit Exhaust Grille Kit installed on the world’s fastest Audi R8. Built by our friends over at T1 Race Development, this monster puts down an impressive 2,064 horsepower and 1,208 foot-pounds of torque on the dyno with their T1-spec V10 long block. With Amie Palo behind the wheel, it can cover the 1/4 mile in 7.51 seconds at 201mph We offer our Voodoo Design Center Exit Exhaust Grill and Tips Conversion Kits separately for those who choose to build their custom exhaust or turbo systems.

As you have all seen, we are getting deeper and deeper into the V10 platforms and we debuted our first long block package in Amie’s R8 at TX2K. The turbo kit and fuel system remained unchanged, but with the built engine we increased power from ~1,400whp to just over 2,000whp. We had no intention of sending Amie down track anywhere close to all in right away but hoped to click off some decent 7-second passes by the end of the weekend at some higher power levels. It went a little quicker than we expected for the first hit in Q1 with a 7.696 at 194mph, which put us in the #1 spot in qualifying in the DCT/GTR1 Class. We came back out in Q2 to run a 7.81 at 199mph, but found some limitations in available line pressure for the clutch, thus limiting us to a little under full power. Moving on to round one of eliminations, Amie went 7.647 at 200mph to reset the R8 1/4 mile record and take the win. She went on to take the win and reset the record again in round 2 of eliminations with a 7.640 at 199mph. In Round 3 she went 7.776 at 197mph, and then finally a 7.62 at 197mph in the finals to take the win in DCT/GTR1 and reset the R8 1/4 mile drag record yet again. To say we are proud of Amie and how well the car did on its first outing would be an understatement!
