Voodoo Design LLC Outfits McLaren 650S Spider with Center Exit Exhaust
Our friend James, the proud owner of this McLaren 650S Spider, wanted to give his car a unique look. We at Voodoo Design LLC decided to help him by installing our newly released center exit exhaust design, inspired by the Mclaren 675LT and McLaren 765LT models. We added other upgrades, such as Voodoo Design Cat Bypass Pipes and an ECU software tune from M Engineering LLC. Let’s take a closer look at what we did for James’ McLaren 650S Spider.
The center exit exhaust design we installed on James’s McLaren 650S Spider was inspired by the Mclaren 675LT and McLaren 765LT models. This system helps increase flow for maximum power gains and features an all-stainless steel construction with dual 3″ tips for optimal sound. The entire exhaust system is finished with Cerakote, a type of ceramic coating, to improve its performance and longevity. This coating is highly resistant to heat and corrosion, making it ideal for use on exhaust systems exposed to high temperatures and harsh driving conditions.
We also installed Voodoo Design Cat Bypass Pipes on James’s McLaren 650S Spider. These pipes are designed to replace your factory catalytic converters for increased performance and improved sound quality. They're constructed from high-grade 304 stainless steel with mandrel bends for optimal flow and a perfect fitment every time.
In addition to the above upgrades, we installed an M Engineering LLC ECU software tune on James’s McLaren 650S Spider. This tune optimizes the engine management system for maximum power gains while providing enhanced throttle response and improved acceleration. It also has an optional launch control function that allows you to get off the line quickly without any wheel spin or loss of traction!
